Infinte security

"The last thing I wanted was infinite security and to be the place an arrow shoots off from. I wanted change and excitement and to shoot off in all directions myself,  like the colored arrows from a Fourth of July rocket."

Silvia Plath, the queen of infinite emotions who never could accept infinite security.
It's so ironic 'cause that is what most people want, like if all the security in the world could buy all the happiness you long for. And what's security anyway?A big house, a dog, a husband, money, kids, gold, fame, a chain, a car? I really don't know, I guess a good book is all the security I need.

"I took a deep breath and listened to the old bray of my heart: I am, I am, I am."
Silvia you are more than most people will ever be
